The type of personal information we collect
We currently collect and process the following information:
Personal identifiers, contacts and characteristics (for example, name and contact details)
Access to monitoring equipment allows selected members of the company to view and monitor a customer's electricity usage.

How we get the personal information and why we have it
Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you for one of the following reasons:
To arrange site visits
Provide quotations, invoices and handover information
Register your installation with the District Network Operator (DNO) where applicable. This is the case for any low carbon technology which will be connected to the grid.
To provide you with building control notifications and electrical safety certificates (where applicable).
Register products to receive the relevant warranty from the product manufacturer.
To register your installation for workmanship insurance and deposit insurance (where applicable).
We also receive personal information indirectly, from the following sources in the following scenarios:
When you have filled out a request to contact an installer on the myenergi website we receive referrals from them.
We use the information that you have given us in order to make contact.
We may share this information with individuals within our company.
Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the lawful bases we rely on for processing this information are:
(a) Your consent. You are able to remove your consent at any time. You can do this by contacting us on info@energyhi.co.uk
(b) We have a contractual obligation.
(c) We have a legal obligation.

How we store your personal information
Your information is securely stored.
We keep Personal details such as
name, country of residence, etc.
Contact information such as email address, address, etc.
Any other materials you willingly submit to us such as articles, images, feedback, etc.
We will retain and use your Personal Information for the period necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. We may use any aggregated data derived from or incorporating your Personal Information after you update or delete it, but not in a manner that would identify you personally. Once the retention period expires, Personal Information shall be deleted.

You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you.

To connect your system to the internet for monitoring and warranty purposes we will require access to your intenet Where access to the wifi is required for installation to conform to the ETSI Technical Specification 103 645 Cyber Security for Consumer Internet of Things we will require written permission from the customer.
